We train medics to competently lead, support and care for people in extreme locations. We’ve spent the last two decades providing on-demand education, on-location training, international conferences and expedition support for people outside normal medical environments.
Today, new challenges – climate change, political upheaval, pandemic and war – mean we’re now facing new extreme environments. Our global movement creates medics who are able to adapt their skills to tackle these demands – for both natural and man-made extremes.
At the same time, we work to broaden the appeal and practice of extreme medicine so that every medic has the opportunity to apply this teaching within their own domestic roles, for the benefit of society as a whole.
