Poster Competition

The ‘Pushing Boundaries Poster Competition’ is open for this year’s World Extreme Medicine Conference.

We invite submissions for both physical and digital posters, showcasing new original research, intriguing case reports, or thought-provoking topic discussions related to any area of Extreme Medicine.

This competition supports medical professionals and enthusiasts sharing their valuable insights and contributions advancing the field of Extreme Medicine.

The competition is open to everyone, so whether you’re a seasoned practitioner, a student, or simply passionate about Extreme Medicine, we encourage you to take part.

To enter, submit a title and abstract for your poster through our dedicated portal below. Alongside your submission, please provide a digital PDF of your poster.

The winners will receive an annual subscription to the World Extreme Medicine Membership, with the runners up receiving a goody-bag full of WEM kit.

In-Person Posters

We kindly request that only in-person conference ticket holders participate in the physical poster displays. If you plan to attend the conference in-person, we invite you to bring your printed poster.

All printed poster must be A1 size, choosing the orientation that best suits your content.

Digital Posters

For those unable to attend the conference in person or who prefer a digital format, worry not!

All posters selected for the physical display will also be showcased on a screen at the venue and featured on the virtual conference platform.

  • All printed poster must be A1 size.
  • Poster may be landscape or portrait.
  • It is the responsibility of competition entrants to ensure that any images used in their poster are not copyrighted.
  • Posters must not have been previously submitted to the World Extreme Medicine Conference.
