WEM has joined forces with the RNLI to develop a groundbreaking, Medicine & Sea Survival course, based at the world-class RNLI College in Poole. This intensive two-day course will push participants through high-fidelity training, simulating survival at sea using the famous RNLI wave tank, as well as using lifeboats as classrooms.
Combined teaching by a WEM medical lead and RNLI instructors will provide you with a unique insight into how to operate as a medical professional in this extremely challenging environment and you will also receive RNLI Sea Survival certification upon successful completion of the course.
You’ll learn environment-specific medicine alongside the practical skills needed to perform well as a medic at sea.
