Key things to know before WEM26
A quick reference guide for preparing your session, arriving at the venue, and knowing who to contact.
Presentation format
- Please create slides in 16:9 format.
- PowerPoint is the most commonly used format.
- Please bring a backup copy on a USB drive.
- Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity at the venue is good.
Session preparation
- Tie your session to the WEM26 theme: Pushing Boundaries.
- Use a clear structure and outline what delegates can expect early on.
- Where possible, include images, video, audio, props, or visual aids.
- Please avoid patient images or footage unless you have consent.
On the day
- Please arrive at least 45 minutes before your scheduled start time.
- Make yourself known to the team at the front desk.
- You’ll be given your speaker pass and directed to your session room.
- Please allow enough time for audience questions, discussion, and debate where appropriate.
- Please stick to time and aim to finish a few minutes early.
Workshop speakers
- If presenting in the Salisbury room, provide your presentation to production on arrival.
- For other workshop rooms, please present from your own device.
- Bring any required adapters, including USB, USB-C, or HDMI.
- Please ensure your laptop is charged and ready.

The conference will be held at Dynamic Earth. On arrival, please make yourself known to staff at the front desk so they can provide your speaker pass and direct you to your session room.
