The Aboriginal Health Council of Western Australia (AHCWA) is the peak body representing Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services across WA. It advocates for Aboriginal health and wellbeing, supports member services through training and resources, and works to strengthen culturally appropriate healthcare for communities statewide.

Opportunities within Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHS) in Western Australia

GPs with Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (United Kingdom) (MRCGP) or the Irish College of General Practitioners (MICGP) are encouraged to apply.

The Aboriginal Health Council of Western Australia (AHCWA) is the peak body for ACCHS in WA, representing 23 unique services. Our sector is committed to delivering holistic, patient-centred care. We are looking for GPs who share our passion for equity-focused healthcare to join multi-disciplinary teams within our ACCHS, which are located in different regional, rural and remote locations across WA.
