Our WEM25 showcase is now live and available to all conference attendees from this year to watch all Biosphere and Salisbury sessions on-demand at no extra cost. For the login information: please check your emails (and spam!) or head over to the conference app and look for the most recent message from us.
Certificates (including CPD and CME)
To receive your certificate of attendance (including CME and CPD for ACRRM and RCSEd), please complete the post-conference survey that is available to you via the app.
WMS CME certificates require an additional fee set by WMS to cover production costs. Payment is taken at the point of submission.
Your COA and CPD certificates will be sent shortly after your survey is completed. WMS CME certificates may take up to 30 days, so keep an eye on your inbox and spam folder.

Why We’re Not Offering On-The-Day Workshop Bookings This Year
Over the last few years, we’ve seen just how eager everyone is to get involved with workshops the moment they arrive at Dynamic Earth, often resulting in long queues, early stress, and delegates missing out on the chance to explore, network, and enjoy the incredible energy of the Biosphere.
We’ve trialled different ways to manage this, from live availability screens to on-site registration systems, but even when these worked perfectly, spaces would still sell out within minutes, leaving many people disappointed before the conference had even begun.
This year, we wanted to change that. By moving all workshop bookings online, everyone has the chance to plan ahead, secure their sessions, and arrive ready to enjoy the full WEM experience from the moment they walk through the doors. It means no more queues, fewer frustrations, and more time to connect, learn, and explore.
We completely understand that an online-only booking system can bring its own frustrations, especially when sessions fill so fast. The World Extreme Medicine Conference is a not-for-profit event run by a small, dedicated team, bringing together over 60 speakers who are experts across a wide range of extreme medicine disciplines — all within a world-class venue, and we want nothing more than for everyone attending to have an incredible experience, and every decision we make is with that goal in mind.
Our opening times (12pm GMT) were carefully chosen to make the process fair for both UK and international delegates, and we’re always listening, learning, and working on new ways to make sure every year is better than the last.
If you missed out on your first-choice workshops, don’t worry, waiting lists will be available on the day for any no-shows. And remember, there’s so much more to experience at the WEM Conference beyond the workshops. You can:

Workshop Registration
How to register: Workshop booking is done via our website. Log into your account, head to the Agenda page, and select the sessions you’d like to attend.
Keep track of your bookings: Once you’ve registered, you can view your full list of booked sessions by logging into your account. We recommend taking a screenshot or noting them down, so you have them handy over the weekend. You can also add them into the conference app for easy reference (make sure to use the email linked to your ticket to log in), just remember the app is for planning only, and all bookings must be made through the website.
If you missed out on your chosen sessions, there will be waiting lists available on the conference weekend in case of no-shows. There’s still other things to experience and enjoy over the weekend! From networking in our exhibitor section to watching speakers on our MainStage in the Biosphere (no pre-registration required).
Important Updates for 2025

No on-the-day registration: To avoid queues and maximise your conference experience, workshops will NOT be bookable on-site.

Spaces released in stages: 75% of spaces were released on October 27th, and the final 25% will be released Monday 10th November at 12pm GMT.

Bookings close: Wednesday 12th November 2025, 9am GMT.

Waiting lists: If a workshop is full, you can join a waiting list at the front desk on the day of the event. We’ll do our best to get you in, but strongly advise you to book in advance.

Arrive early: Please arrive a couple of minutes before your workshop on the day so the WEM team can register you at the door.

Biosphere sessions: These do not require pre-registration. You’re welcome to attend as many as you like.
If you have trouble logging in, please contact us.
We’ll do our best to help, but if multiple people run into issues at the last minute, we can’t guarantee quick fixes, and sessions do sell out fast.

- Please note that Dynamic earth is located within a Edinburgh Low Emission Zone (LEZ), Cars which do not meet the LEZ standards are not able to enter the turning circle at the front of the building unless they are exempt.

The Sunday Night Ceilidh

Not got your Ceilidh ticket yet?
Head over to the Agenda page and navigate to Sunday, you will be able to find out more and book your ticket for the party there. Tickets are £40 per person and includes a welcome drink and canapés. Online booking for the Ceilidh will close on Saturday 15th November 2025 – however you can still purchase a ticket in-person at the conference, just look for a member of staff and they will be able to take payment and add you to the list.
Conference App
Each year we launch a dedicated app to help you make the most of your WEM Conference experience.
Through the app you’ll be able to:
- Browse the full agenda and build your own personal schedule*
- Network with other attendees and speakers
- Stay up to date with the latest announcements and updates throughout the weekend
By now, you would have received an email from Eventee with instructions to download the app and sign up. It is available on both iOS and Android devices, you will also be able to download the app at the conference, you will need to log in using the email address linked to your ticket (which may be different to your billing email address, check your order receipt via email!). If you have recently purchased your ticket please keep an eye on your emails for the invite link.
*Please note: Adding a session to your personal schedule in the app does not mean you are booked onto that session. The app is for planning purposes only. To secure a place on bookable workshops, you’ll need to register via our website.
On-Demand Sessions
Your WEM25 ticket includes access to a full library of on-demand content after the conference.
- All Salisbury and Biosphere sessions will be recorded and made available to watch back.
- If you miss a talk during the weekend, you’ll be able to catch up via the WEM25 Showcase.
- A link to the on-demand sessions will be shared with you after the conference via the app and by email.
- Recordings will remain available for 12 months following the event, so you can revisit the content whenever you like.
CPD Certificates
- RCSEd and ACRRM certificates are included in the price of your ticket.
- These will be sent to the email address you provide in the survey (check your spam!).
- Certificates are normally issued within 48 hours of completing the survey.
- If you haven’t received yours after this time, please check your spam folder before contacting our team.
CME Certificates
WMS CME certificates require an additional £45 fee, which is charged directly by WMS (not WEM). You’ll also be asked to complete some extra questions to support your application. Once payment and the form are submitted, we will forward your application to WMS.
Certificates can take up to 30 days to arrive. If you haven’t received yours after this period, please contact our team.
Final Notes
Unless you’re subscribed to our mailing list, you will only receive information about WEM25, these are just comms to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your experience before, during, and after the event. You’re welcome to unsubscribe, but we’d recommend staying on until after WEM25 to ensure you don’t miss anything important.
